Cephalopod
A long standing monthly improvised performance band based at Seattle’s Seamonster Lounge. Hosted by Charlie Akeley, co-founded with Chris featuring a rotating cast of some Seattle’s finest musicians and special guests!

Cephalopod is an all improvised invitational groove based jam I co-founded with guitar wizzard and host: Charlie Akeley. The date varies but it’s been an ongoing monthly at the Seamonster Lounge in Wallingford for several years! I typically bring a keyboard, baritone sax and a bunch of random ideas to sing about. This jam fits in between gigs and touring,  I’m always blown away with what we come up with. A few rotating guest players include Joe Doria, Thaddeus Turner, Ehssan Karimi, Danny Godinez, Kent Halvorsen, Mark Mattery, Skye Waite, Jens Gunnoe and the list goes on!
